Amendment of the Energy Industry Act (EnWG)

With the amendment of the EnWG, there is an obligation to install “metering systems” as of availability.

Metering systems (EnWG §21d) that must be installed:

– In new installations and after major renovations.

– For final consumers with an annual consumption greater than 6,000 kWh.

– In new installations according to the EEG and KWK-G with an installed capacity greater than 7 kW.
